Once you have visited College, or decide that you wish to pursue an application, you should register your daughter as soon as possible. The Registration Form should be completed and returned to the Registry Department, with the applicable fee plus a copy of the applicant's birth certificate. Thereafter, an examination entry form will be sent to you at the appropriate time. This should also be completed by the parents and the Head Teacher of a girl's current school before being returned, with the examination fee and any necessary accompanying documents by the application deadline.
Most girls enter the College between the ages of 11 and 13. (Only a very few places are available for entry at 14/Year 10, please contact the Registry Department for further information). Applicants enter via the College's own entrance examination (Years 7, 8 and 9) or Common Entrance examination (Years 7 and 9 only). These examinations are normally taken at a girl's current junior school or with a private invigilator in January of the year of entry. Scholarship examinations take place, at College, at the beginning of February and those candidates who wish to be considered for scholarship, must be invited to College following the initial entrance examinations.
